The Setting

Your therapist will review your health intake form and conduct a brief interview, asking a few questions about your medical history and any preferences you may have in relation to your treatment goals. After the interview, your therapist will leave the treatment room while you disrobe and settle in on the massage table, where you will be under a sheet and a blanket. You should also remove any jewelry or other articles that might interfere with the massage.

For your convenience, disposable headbands are available to help manage long hair and protect it from oils and lotions. The room will remain dimly lit. No scented candles will be used since certain scents can trigger an allergic response in some clients. Once you have indicated that you are ready, your therapist will return to begin your therapy.
